Received yesterday flask looks and feels great tried it out this morning my coffee only stayed hot for 4 hours was hoping it would last a bit longer than that for days out I heated the flask up first with boiling water so a bit disappointed with the outcome but loving the style and quality of the flask

🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹The ION8 Vacuum flask is available in various colours. I was torn between the green (my favourite colour), and the navy blue (more neutral). In the end I actually went for the deep teal shade, which is the best of both worlds.The flask has a large capacity 300 ml cup, and the container itself holds 700 mls meaning two people can have a brew each. It has a textured surface making it easy to grip. The cup attaches magnetically to the flask, and the liquid is secured in the flask with a screw top.🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹Firstly, after my dilemma over the colour, when the flask arrived I was delighted with my choice. The teal is lovely, and the silver band really sets it off.The textured surface is a great idea, and makes it easy to grip if your hands are cold/wet or if you are wearing gloves. There is a rubber pad on the base which ensures it doesn’t bang when you put it down.The cup is much larger then the one on my previous flask, which is perfect as I do love a good decent sized cuppa !I mainly chose this flask as I have recently taken on an allotment, so it’s great to look forward to a nice hot brew after toiling away in the cold. I can either go on my own and enjoy two brews, or if my partner comes along he can have a brew with me. As well as tea, it will also hold coffee or even soup (though I have not yet tried it with soup). Being made from stainless steel it’s also durable. Just make sure you don’t pick it up with the cup – it is magnetic and holds secure, but not secure enough to pick the flask up when full.I can think of many opportunities for using this flask, not just on my allotment, but also on trips out. I just need to make sure "him indoors" doesn’t take a liking to it when he resumes his fishing – he'll have to buy his own !

I have heard good things about ION8 before and this pretty much echo's that. The flask feels really sturdy, the cup is held on I think magnetically, and unlike many is actually really nice to drink from. The flask itself keeps the contents hot for ages. This seems like one of those flasks that you hold onto for ages no matter how battered and dented it becomes.

Solid, well-made flask with a lovely texture that keeps my coffee warm.. what more could you ask for?! The flask is quite large (annoyingly doesn't fit in small cup holders) and can hold a good amount of liquid, which is great for long days. The lid/cup comes off pretty easily but then snaps back on via magnets which is handy for ensuring it says on. The screw top lid is also a decent size and fits/screws on very well so you won't get spillage.

This bottle is designed to keep tea or other beverages hot or cold for 12 hours and will look simple and elegant. I have to say with a clear conscience that it does just that. The bottle makes a very good impression. It is nicely designed and looks nice. The drinking cup is magnetic and has the right size. They are good. You can see that someone has thought about it. The soft pad on the base ensures a safe, quiet position on any surface. The manufacturer used powder coat paint, so the bottle is stylish, durable, and suitable for any occasion. I highly recommend it.

The insulated mug is a nice extra, and the light magnetisation helps keep it in place. You might think twice about picking it up by the mug though! The stainless steel build feels high quality, BPA-free, and food-safe, with a rubberised base that prevents slipping, which is useful on trains or wobbly surfaces. The mottled outer wall gives it a good grip, though I do wish it had a handle for easier carrying. Also, it doesn’t fit in my car cup holder, but on the whole, it’s a stylish, well-made flask.

PROS
-magnetic connection of cup works well (though I can’t pick up a full flask by the in-place cup)
-good to have an insulated cup, as well as the more typical insulated flask (less heat transfer through the in-place cup should keep contents warmer/colder for longer)
-keeps my cold water cold for quite a long time (it’s a bit large for hot drinks like tea, unless I was sharing). I tested a flask of cold (from the fridge) water, and it was still nice and cool the next morning.
-just enough texture to be pleasant to hold, but also be grippy
-elegant look

CONS
-I could ask for a better closure system: the screw-in cap is a separate piece, and could get lost when not connected to the flask. Some sort of open/close mechanism that doesn’t separate from the flask would be better.
-magnetic cup is a great idea, but if you try to pick up a full flask by the cup, the magnet will let go, but not right away: my first time doing this, the cup let go just as I moved the flask off the table, and it crashed to the floor). Always pick it up by the body of the flask.
